Please contact us if these requests are outside your possibilities. We will always work within your requirements.
  1. Position the first row of seats within three feet of the stage.
  2. Set the lectern back from the front of the stage so that Janet can walk in front of it.
  3. Please position a set of stairs without rails, center front.
  4. Set a small draped table stage right, for props.
  5. Set a bar-stool is down left, spotlighted if possible.
Recording Devices:
Audio-taping is not authorized. Videotaping is permitted under special conditions such as archival use, with prior written permission. If you would like to videotape Dr. Lapp's presentation for archival use, please complete the Video Release Form. If you would like to videotape for commercial reasons, please complete the Commercial Video Release Form.

Lighting:
People tend to laugh and listen more in brightness. Dim the screen area, but leave 75-100% house lights on during the program. Dr. Lapp moves around during her program and at times, may enter the audience. If the room has ceiling spots, aim for a general center front wash.

Visuals and Sound:
  1. Wireless lapel microphone used concurrently with b. during exercises
  2. Wireless handheld microphone
Dr. Lapp will bring her own Macintosh G4 -- with her presentation graphics and video on it. Please provide a screen, a computer projection system, and a cable into the room sound system so that the video clips can play from the G4. There are no special cables needed for the G4; Dr. Lapp will bring the needed connector.

If you are using front screen projection, please place the screen at front left or right corner of room. If you are using rear screen projection, the screen placement is at your discretion.

Please call Dr. Lapp on her cell at 619-672-2417 for questions or advice concerning equipment or set-up. We want your program to be as successful as possible, and set-up is an important part of that success.
