Dr Janet Lapp, Inc. and The Center for Leadership Development
were founded by Janet Lapp in 1982 as international organizations
that grew from Janet's clinical experiences as a registered nurse
and psychologist, hospital manager, university professor, and consultant
with Fortune 500 companies. Their purpose is to guide and coach
leaders who are in the throes of fast change, and who are seeking
to create a climate of value-focused leadership, accountability
and high productivity.
Janet has attracted a group of professionals who have formed The
FastChange Group, a virtual global consulting organization.
We believe that
- employees must be respected and valued in action, not only word.
- this respect must translate throughout the organization.
- fast, healthy change is possible only through the telling of the truth, whether it is to stop wasting time in ego-driven meetings, or to call time on a project headed for disaster, or to hold one's supervisor accountable.
- those who choose not to ascribe to the values and perform the behaviours must not be shuffled or tip-toed around, but told the truth and made to choose between leaving and making a 100% commitment.
