Cable chains are used wherever something needs to be moved, packaged, cut or positioned with precision. They ensure a permanent supply of energy, data or media such as air and water.

They have become indispensable in machine tools, filling systems, laser cutting machines, CNC processing machines, press construction and many other applications.


With the help of a cable chain, movements are controlled so that the forces permanently acting on the cable or media hose do not lead to premature damage or failure. The type of movement is an important application parameter. In cable chains for classic applications, the movement is linear, i.e. always along the direction specified by the chain.

The clustering is based on the one hand on the material from which the cable chain is made, and on the other hand on the possible areas of application.

  • The reinforced, double side band and frame construction provides extra stability

  • The perfect solution for long travel distances (sliding arrangement)
  • Only for a sliding arrangement

  • Special sliding elements are integrated into the side belts, allowing the chain to glide reliably on itself with low friction

Application fields:

  • For highly dynamic, low-vibration applications
  • Only for self-supporting arrangement

Features:

  • Moves extremely quietly and precisely, achieves very high speeds (up to 20 m/s) and acceleration values (up to 200 m/s2)

Application fields:

  • For maximum loads (up to 400 kg)
  • At very low/high temperatures
  • In harsh environments (e.g. seawater, food industry)
  • For a self-supporting arrangement or long travel distances

You want high speed?

Our SILENT cable chain made of plastic would actually withstand a moon rocket launch. It can be used to reach speeds of up to 70 km/h and accelerations of up to 10g can be achieved.
