Overview of production sites

Our roots are in Vaihingen, Stuttgart. Here, Oskar Lapp developed the first industrially manufactured and flexible control cables with coloured cores. Back in 1957, the company was based and stored its products in the couple’s house in Stuttgart’s Vaihingen district. From there, LAPP grew to become the global market leader for integrated connection systems – with its own cable production since 1963.

We now produce at 19 production sites with state-of-the-art equipment and global quality standards. Customers benefit from our extensive production expertise across the entire value creation process – from development to design and manufacturing right through to commissioning and maintenance. Our own plants thus make an important contribution to our business success.

We are able to manufacture our products in a scalable manner and to cater for your individual requirements. Our customers receive products quickly, from a single source and precisely tailored to their projects. Our own production facilities allow us to develop newly generated product ideas into new products in a very short space of time and to continuously improve and standardise our own processes. We can use our own plants to react to market fluctuations in order to achieve the best possible delivery capability for our customers. We also place very high standards on the quality of our products. We ensure these with online and inline checks. Our manufacturing expertise covers various areas, from cables to assemblies, connectors, cable glands, e-mobility, cable labelling and our ÖLFLEX® CONNECT systems.
