New commitment in the German Basketball League

Stuttgart, 27 September 2023 - With the start of the basketball Bundesliga season at the end of September, LAPP is the new team partner of the MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg. The Ludwigsburg Barock Volleys are also being supported this season by the world market leader for integrated solutions in the field of cable and connection technology.

For the family-run company with its headquarters in Stuttgart, the sporting commitment is a good opportunity to share the LAPP brand with a large regional and national audience and bring it to life. There are also particularly close links between LAPP and Ludwigsburg, as the company operates one of its largest logistics and service centres in Ludwigsburg.

"By sponsoring the two clubs, we primarily want to emphasise our local ties to Ludwigsburg and the Stuttgart region. It is also a good platform for raising awareness of our company and helping us to recruit specialists and managers," emphasises Matthias Lapp, CEO of the Lapp Group.

Team spirit united

The MHP RIESEN have been playing in the Bundesliga without interruption since 2003 and also take part in the Champions League internationally. "The team spirit is what makes the club so successful. This connects us, because our formula for success is also the strong cooperation as ONE LAPP," adds Matthias Lapp. With the Barock Volleys, LAPP is supporting a newcomer, as the club will be playing in the 2nd Bundesliga in the new season.
