Valid Conditions for Orders in the Online Shop of U.I. Lapp GmbH

a. Prices

The prices in force on the day of order entry plus the VAT rate applicable on the day of invoicing shall apply.

The prices shown in the Online Shop include all metal surcharges. A detailed price composition may be displayed before the order is completed.

The net value of goods represents the value of goods (incl. or excl. metal, depending on the specification) without surcharges such as cutting costs, shipping costs, special services and storage service.

b. Shipping costs

b.1 Domestic delivery

If you choose a delivery address within the buyer's country, it is a domestic delivery and we deliver free of charge from a net value of goods of EUR 600.00 including metals. Below a net value of goods of EUR 600.00 including metals, we charge the fees listed in the table below.

b.2 International delivery

Lapp delivers into 11 different countries. If you choose a delivery address outside the buyer's country, it is an international delivery, and we charge the fees listed in the table below.

* The weight of an order consists of the net weight of the products and a surcharge for handling and packaging.

c. Cutting costs

For cutting to required lengths, we charge cutting costs of EUR 20.00 per cut in the online shop.

d. Minimum value surcharge

The minimum order value of goods is EUR 50.00 net including metals. A surcharge of EUR 10.00 will be charged for orders with a lower net value of goods in the Online Shop.

e. Delivery quantities

Cables:

Short and excess lengths of +/- 10% are permissible. A delivery may be made in partial lengths. A cut length surcharge per special length will be charged for desired special lengths outside of our catalogue standards. The length-related measurement tolerance is ± 0.5%. Special products supplied by the metre are produced in production lengths. If no division lengths are specified when ordering, we reserve the right to specify the division lengths or layout according to our defined standard lengths.

Piece goods:

We deliver piece items in packaging units.

Packaging units:

Goods by the metre up to 30 kg or up to 250 m are delivered as a ring. Orders greater than 30 kg and/or lengths of more than 250 m will be delivered on a cable drum. We deliver accessories exclusively in packaging units according to the catalogue. A length tolerance of +/-5% may exist for accessories by the metre in the catalogue. An overdelivery of 15% or an underdelivery of 10% is permissible in the case of accessories that are not listed in the catalogue.

f. Warehouse service

If the goods are not accepted on the confirmed delivery date, we can offer the following warehouse service:

Storage for up to 3 months: free-of-charge
Storage 4 - 6 months: 0.5% of the invoice amount per month started
Storage 7 - 12 months: 0.7% of the invoice amount per month started
From month 13: the goods will be sent to you automatically

Valid for all options from confirmed delivery date or goods becoming available. If you do not wish to use this service, this shall be interpreted by us as an immediate delivery request or if the delivery is still delayed for a reason for which you are responsible, we will automatically re-calculate the costs incurred to you in accordance with the value as listed above.

g. Returns

We would like to point out that we generally do not take back goods that have been delivered free of defects. Should we exceptionally agree to take back the goods as a gesture of goodwill, you must first request the return in writing. In consideration of our parameters and the internal commercial examination we submit to you thereupon, if necessary, a repurchase offer.

This repurchase offer has a validity of 2 weeks, which must be confirmed in writing. If we do not receive a confirmation within this period, the offer expires.

h. Complaints

If you have a complaint, we ask you to please use one of our forms under FAQ > Complaints to report it to us.

i. Drums and pallets returns (only possible in DE)

Our partner in packaging and disposal matters within the framework of the German Packaging Act [Verpackungsgesetz] is the disposal and recycling service provider Interzero Circular Solutions Germany GmbH. We offer a pick-up service for the return of reusable solid wood cable drums.

Deliveries of europallets are in principle made in exchange, otherwise a charge is made according to the cost. For deliveries on disposable pallets that are made upon request, we reserve the right to charge costs.

If collection is not possible due to incorrect information or insufficient access, we will charge you for the costs of the unnecessary trip.
