The system is not limited to LAPP products, but the RFID label attached to the cable drum in advance offers you the great advantage that the cable drums can be read automatically by the eKanban sensor. To use LAPP eKanban, you pay a monthly rental fee for the required sensors and a one-off set-up fee. To use the system, you need an IIoT gateway with an internet connection, one eKanban sensor per cable drum and access to the browser-based eKanban user interface. As soon as you have been registered as an eKanban customer, you will receive an RFID label for each cable drum.
