Metal exchange

Our individual metal prices LCP (LAPP Copper Price) and LAP (LAPP Aluminium Price) are derived from the following values:

• The LME cash settlements for copper and aluminium (in USD per tonne respectively)
• The ECB reference rate (fixing at 2:15 p.m.) for the USD/EUR conversion
• A cathodic surcharge for copper determined from the procurement costs (in USD per tonne)
• A percentage procurement surcharge for copper
• A percentage bolt and procurement surcharge for aluminium

We generally deduct copper and aluminium from the average daily prices of the previous month.

The metal base

• EUR 150/100 kg for most flexible cables (e.g. ÖLFLEX CLASSIC 100) and piece goods (e.g. ÖLFLEX® SPIRAL 540 P)
• 100/100 kg for telecommunication cables (e.g. J -Y(St)Y)
• EUR 0.00/100 kg for cables for direct burial (e.g. power cables NYY, NAYY), i.e. hollow price.
